๐ŸŒผThe Sanyasi Who Became a King is a non-fiction that throws light on one of the most mysterious and complex cases of the Bawal Raja's story where the reappearance of Ramendra Narayan Roy presumed dead in 1909, yet reemerging 12 years later as an ash-covered sanyasi which then followed the sets the narrative of questions written with in depth research and engaging writing style with historical insight, and personal. Easy navigating and comprehensive approach to a complex and layered historical event while balancing historical accuracy along with creating a compelling narrative.
๐ŸŒบ

๐ŸŒผThis book throws light on the very complex and discussed case of Bawal Raja, where the price of Bawal of years of going missing allegedly comes back as a sanyasi and now it is the question for everyone whether he was an imposter or really the Prince of Bhawal along with three strongly portrayed women- Jyotirmayee Devi, Sarajubala Devi and Bibhatibati Devi.
๐ŸŒบ

๐ŸŒผBibhatibati Devi put up the strong front of being the chief opposition and the British colonial state quietly working to contest his claim which thereafter resulted a long process of court trial in order to prove the plaintiff's true identity also without Sarajubala Devi's financial help he would not have been able to afford to fight and appeal in the high court and if Jyotirmayee Devi hadn't believed him to be her brother and gone ahead with her conviction the case wouldn't have gained momentum.
๐ŸŒบ

๐ŸŒผThe story is well written which doesn't feel too bookish yet is done with immersive research and upholds the legal fiasco. Themes of power, betrayal, love, and legacy are woven effectively, especially in the character of Bibhabati, whose doubts add emotional gravitas of this colonial-era legal drama. Overall a thrilling account of a true story that would recommend to history buffs, lovers of real mysteries packed with emotional depth, identity crises and power struggles.

๐Ÿช„An Ancient Witch’s Guide to Modern Dating is a heartwarming, hilarious rom-com that blends cozy fantasy with a dash of enchantment—perfect for fans of The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches and The Ex Hex. Our protagonist Thorn Scarhart is a sharp-witted, thirty-nine-year-old witch who’s struggling to find love in the 17th century. Despite a shelf full of love potions and the tireless efforts of the village matchmaker, romance continues to elude her. Grieving the loss of her mother and the mysterious disappearance of her sister, Thorn has spent years focused on survival rather than courtship.

It’s a lot to take in, but with the help of the museum’s kind-hearted curator and his irresistibly charming veterinarian brother, Thorn is ready to give love another try. As she navigates dating apps, first dates, and the occasional magical mishap, She just might discover that while love isn't always easy, it’s never too late to find. ๐Ÿช„This book is a cozy rom‑com fantasy sprinkled with light-hearted fun and comforting, with just enough emotional depth which stands as an enchanting debut, brimming with charm, magical mishaps, and a quirky feline companion. Its strengths lie in witty dialogue, character-driven humor, and a well developed heroine finding love and self-worth beyond spells. While some places felt a little underdeveloped and slow paced, the warmth, humor, and satisfying romance make it a cozy reading experience for fans of witchy rom‑coms like The Ex Hex.
๐Ÿ”ฎ

๐Ÿช„If you're in the mood for a magical, heartwarming escape with modern dating quirks and a talking cat this book delivers. Beneath the rom‑com surface, the novel tackles deeper issues like Thorn's grief over her mother and sister, her inner ageism at 39, and her quest for self-acceptance. Her journey becomes as much about inner growth as outer romance.

๐ŸŒทThe story introduces us with Aditi and her emotional entanglement and devotion towards her Rabi ,and Sashi along their fractured relationship which becomes a prism through which love is examined, dissected, and ultimately redefined binding all with philosophy, human psyche, desires and ambition. I enjoyed the way the story has been narrated juggling between timelines of the characters past with all its sweet memories and regrets, creating a nostalgic and melancholic atmosphere.
๐Ÿ’Œ

๐ŸŒทTwo individuals with their complex lives and shared history of more than two decades finds themselves on the threshold of the house they once built awaiting one to cross it and separate from eachother but when the court gave them a 6 months cooling of period they decide to have lunch together here we get to delve deep into their stories of personal ambitions and intimate needs all collides on this final date making us witness to a journey of love.
๐Ÿ’Œ

๐ŸŒทI love how Tagore has been inter-woven with this story, the characters and it was definitely not how I expected it to be so it was for me a really sweet, intriguing surprise of exploration of Tagore’s poetry and philosophy woven into the narrative reflecting on identity, grief, and legacy with emotional resonance.
๐Ÿ’Œ

๐ŸŒทYet Remember me weaves personal tragedy with intellectual inquiry with layers of poetry, philosophy and emotions making this book a compelling choice. It’s not just a story that narrates about the end of a relationship but rather questions “when a husband dies, does his wife truly become a widow if her heart has long loved another?”, how love always doesn't need to have its physical existence but lingers long after the final page is turned.
